After Session . Genevieve and Marc . Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas . Destination Wedding Photographer
As usual it’s been far, far too long since I’ve blogged. I think I am currently about 20 weddings and a couple hundred portrait sessions behind. I wish I could blog everything we do but it’s just not possible to do anymore since we are blessed to be so busy with so many amazing clients. I am going to try to blog more often, even though there’s no chance that I could ever catch up on everything.
Back in September I flew down to the Bahamas with the fabulous Jill Higgins for Genevieve and Mark’s wedding. Here are some photos from the after session I photographed at sunrise the day after their wedding (they’re amazing for being willing to get up that early the day after their wedding!). The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in Nassau is an absolutely gorgeous place to a destination wedding. Between the incredible resort itself, the stunning beaches, the maze of aquariums, and the gorgeous water park the possibilities were simply endless. We chose to photograph the after session primarily on the beach. Beach weddings are always beautiful but the beach at sunrise has such an amazing look and feel to it. It’s almost otherworldly. The way the sky changes and the clouds move and change colors as the sun comes up gives you so many incredibly different looks in the span of just an hour or so that it appears you spent days at the beach taking photographs instead of a couple of hours. The Aquarium at the Atlantis is just phenomenal too so, of course, we had to head down there for a few images too.
