Laura & Andy’s Wedding at Patten Chapel & Lindsay Street Hall

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a group of people have as much fun as the guests at Laura & Andy’s wedding had. The day started off at Patten Chapel, the gorgeous chapel on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus. It was a beautiful day with blue skies, sun, and the perfect temperature. When i walked in Laura was smiling and laughing as she flipped through a book created by her close friends and family. Smiles and laughter remained the theme for the day. As you look through the photos you’ll find them filled with people who are smiling and laughing and having the time of their lives. The reception was held at nearby Lindsay Street Hall, a gorgeous old church that’s on the National Historic Register and is simply stunning. You couldn’t choose two more perfect venues for a Wedding than Lindsay Street Hall and Patten Chapel, the day went absolutely perfectly.

Laura and Andy chose to have a first look in the Shakespeare Garden outside of Patten Chapel. During their first look Laura handed Andy a photo of his father and his fathers wedding band to carry with him on his wedding day so that he could have a piece of him with him on this most special day. It was one of the most thoughtful things I’ve seen a bride do. Then the wedding party joined us for some fun photos before the ceremony began. The ceremony was lovely, the only way to describe the reception is by saying that it was simply epic, we stole Laura and Andy for a bit to take some photos right before sunset and enjoyed dancing and having fun at the reception with them!

You can tell that Laura and Andy have a strong relationship and have intermingled their family and their friends quite nicely. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time drinking, dancing, playing cornhole, building human pyramids (I’ll admit it’s the largest and most impressive man-pyramid I’ve ever seen ;)), and enjoying each others company. I also learned that Andy can turn, literally, anything in to an air guitar… a bottle of champagne, a centerpiece, a chair, even the leg of one of his friends 😉 It was a fantastic fun-filled day.
