Engagement Session Old Woolen Mill Cleveland TN

Last year one of my most favorite wedding coordinators in the world, Cheryl Hyland of Blissful Moments, called me in to meet with Buffy and Tom about photographing their wedding. I instantly adored them. After talking to them for about an hour we realized that Buffy was actually one of my little sisters best friends in elementary school. I can remember her being just a scrawny little thing who, along with my sister, set out to terrorize me during their weekend slumber parties. She’s definitely grown up and, while she’s definitely still tiny (can we please bottle her metabolism?) she’s no longer that scrawny little kid and, hopefully, won’t try to terrorize me anymore ;)

I very much enjoyed getting to know Tom and getting to know the grown-up Buffy while photographing their engagement session at the Old Woolen Mill in Cleveland, TN last fall (yes, I really am *that* behind on blogging). Here are some photos from their engagement session and a few from their wedding this past Saturday at The Grandview on Lookout Mountain and Stone Fort Inn in downtown Chattanooga. Check out the amazing 1955 Chevy Bel Air rented from Brandon Burns - it’s an absolutely amazing car.

There are so many kinds of love.

Fun love, happy love, deep love, crazy love, passionate love, silly love.

Looking through Macy & Brent’s wedding photos you can see all those kinds of love on their faces and on the faces of their family and friends. I had an amazing time photographing Macy & Brent’s wedding. Their wedding party was fun, laid back, and everybody was beautiful. The Read House is always a beautiful place for photos and one of our newer venues, Lindsay Street Hall in downtown Chattanooga is incredibly beautiful - and the people there are so amazing to work with. Amanda did an incredible job with the flowers as always, Cheryl and her team were incredible and coordinated everything perfectly. The band was fabulous, the food was wonderful, the guests were fun and friendly. Their families were absolutely wonderful to work with. It was even a little bit on the warm side for a December Wedding. Macy’s Dad should win some sort of award for “Best Reaction when Giving a Bride Away”, I love it! It was truly a perfect day!

Congratulations Macy & Brent! I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek on the blog! I’ll have your gallery ready in a few days!

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Olivia & Daniel’s wedding was simply beautiful. Laurelwood Farms on Signal Mountain is a beautiful wedding venue. The vendors they chose did an incredible job pulling everything together. Olivia, Daniel, their friends, and their families made the day perfectly incredible. You couldn’t ask for a more amazing group of family and friends - really. This *might* be the most photos I’ve ever put in a single blog post, it was that beautiful! It’s SO nice to have a working blog again - after not being able to blog for way too long I’m finally able to blog all my gorgeous Spring Weddings!

Blissful Moments with The White Table crew…

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Yes, I realize how incredibly cheesy I am. I also realize how fortunate I am to have Cheryl, Laura, and Daneise in my life. I work with these wonderful women quite frequently at weddings in the Chattanooga area. Cheryl is the owner of Blissful Moments Wedding & Event Planning while Daneise, Laura, and Cheryl all run The White Table here in Chattanooga. They’re amazing colleagues in the wedding industry but, more importantly, They’re all amazing friends.

I absolutely enjoyed spending the evening with Cheryl, her husband Rob, Laura, and Daneise as I photographed a family session for them at Fillauer Lake House in Cleveland, TN (one of my very favorite wedding venues). I cannot wait until Cheryl & Rob’s new bundle arrives and we get to do it all over again!

I love you guys! Always have, always will - you’re amazing people and the love you have for each other is easy to see. Enjoy your sneak peek!
