The C Family was incredibly fun to photograph! Their home was lovely and filled with warm family touches and sweet sentiments. I love the story of how this wonderful couple met - in Kindergarten, and the photos they have framed in their bedroom of the two of them when they were that age. Their daughter is beautiful with her chubby cheeks and almond eyes. I had a fabulous time getting to know them and capturing their family.

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009Baby H ~ Oh How I love Outdoor Newborn Sessions! ~ Chattanooga Newborn Photographer
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009Baby H was an absolute pleasure to photograph. I enjoyed every minute I spent with her & her wonderful, wonderful parents. She’s also one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever laid eyes on in my entire life… I just love her! I also loved the amazing outdoor area (with the beautiful, beautiful light) that I had to work with in their back yard! Such a wonderful, beautiful family!
Chelsea & Eric’s Wedding ~ Spiegel Farms ~ Campobello, SC ~ Tryon, NC
Monday, September 21st, 2009Chelsea & Eric had a truly, incredibly, beautiful wedding. The day started with getting ready at Spiegel Farms in Campobello, SC. Spiegel Farms was one of the most stunning venues I’ve ever seen. The beautiful barn was like nothing I’ve ever seen before (and as you’re looking through the photographs I promise you’ll say “What barn? I don’t see a barn?!?” Yes, exactly my point - it’s that amazing.
I arrived while the girls were getting ready - hair, makeup, beautiful dresses…. A perfect beginning to an absolutely perfect day. After photographs with the wedding party and some amazing portraits with some of the horses there on the farm it Chelsea headed to the ceremony at Tryon Presbyterian Church in a stunning chauffeured silver vintage Rolls Royce.
Following a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony we headed back to Spiegel Farms for more photos of Cheslea & Eric alone then a stunningly beautiful reception in the ballroom.
No detail was overlooked, everything went perfectly. From the DJ teaching impromptu dance lessons to the amazing cake, candy bar, beautiful floral arrangements… it was all simply stunning.
I really, truly, enjoyed every moment I spent with Chelsea, Eric, and their families. I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed meeting them all and how I’ve enjoyed the relationships I’ve formed with them. It was a truly, truly incredible experience. But, then again, capturing true love always is…
Chelsea’s Bridal Session ~ Duncan Estate ~ Spartanburg, SC
Thursday, September 10th, 2009Chelsea is such a gorgeous, gorgeous bride!
Last spring I drove up to Spartanburg, SC to the Duncan Estate to spend the afternoon photographing Chelsea’s Bridal Session. Unfortunately it was absolutely storming that day and we were unable to use the gorgeous grounds there but we were able to get some wonderful images inside the Estate. Incredibly gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe Chelsea. She’s one of those people who just amazes you by being so beautiful on the outside that you decide they can’t possibly be that way on the inside too - but Chelsea is. I was so happy to get to know Chelsea and her wonderful, wonderful mother, whom I love and adore, and spend the day with them there. I’ll be blogging the wedding very soon - it’s even MORE amazing!
Crystal + AJ ~ Little Brown Church ~ Chattanooga Wedding Photographer
Thursday, September 10th, 2009AJ and Crystal are two of the sweetest people. I had the most amazing time photographing their wedding at the Little Brown Church on Signal Mountain followed by a reception at The Chattanoogan Hotel.
There were so many amazing moments that I couldn’t begin to describe them all - but the thing that stuck out most in my mind was their son… he’s just precious. After AJ and Crystal were pronounced man & wife he met them halfway down the aisle where AJ scooped him up and carried him the rest of the way. You’ll also see that he joined in on their first dance. They’re such a loving, beautiful family.
It’s almost time for their first anniversary - Happy Anniversary, guys!
JW & Elizabeth’s Wedding at Second Presbyterian Church and The Hunter Museum
Friday, September 4th, 2009JW & Elizabeth are one of the few couples who made me teary eyed just by telling me their love story. Thinking back to the day I photographed their engagement session I remember hearing how they’ve been together, pretty much, since they were kids. Some people really are lucky enough to find their one true love the first time around, I suppose. That makes me happy, truly happy.
Anyhow, after something like 8 years of being childhood sweethearts these two beautiful souls tied the knot last April. I cannot express how much I enjoyed spending this wonderful day with JW, Elizabeth, their families, and their friends. Truly an amazing group of people. I couldn’t have asked for two more wonderful families to spend that time with.
Details:
Hair: Lulu’s Salon
Wedding Coordinator: Soirees
Flowers: Gil & Curt
Ceremony: Second Presbyterian Church
Reception: Hunter Museum of Art
Music: Broad Street Exit Band
Things that still stick out in my mind about JW & Elizabeth’s wedding are the beautiful speech by JW’s sister, Beth, during the ceremony, the closeness and love between all of the families and the wedding party. JW & Elizabeth really, truly have amazing families - I still get a little teary eyed thinking about just how wonderful they really are. I have a genuine hope that I can give that kind of gift to my own children. I really enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth’s sister, Katherine, watching Elizabeth’s mother tear up the dance floor, and witnessing and the amazing connections they have with all of their family and friends. Oh, and let’s not forget the Broad Street Exit Band’s incredible performance! So many wonderful memories…
Congratulations, again, to the two of you - I’m excited to finally be able to blog your wedding! Thank you both for allowing me to capture your wedding day, it’s definitely one that I’ll never forget.
Beautiful Bouquets ~ Divine Designs by Amanda
Friday, September 4th, 2009Quite some time ago I photographed some beautiful floral arrangements for some new advertising materials for The White Table here in Chattanooga and for Amanda Williams of Divine Designs by Amanda who is an absolutely incredible floral designer. I had an absolute blast photographing a variety of gorgeous table set ups, bouquets, and linens. We went all over Chattanooga setting up tables, chairs, and floral arrangements. We headed to The Walden Club, The Mill in downtown Chattanooga, The Fairyland Club, and a variety of alleys and side streets along the way. It was an amazing experience and a wonderful chance to be able to see so many different decorating ideas. I’m sure I’ll be using several of them for my own wedding! Here are some of the images of Amanda’s amazing creations - If you’re looking for wedding bouquet ideas or ideas for uniquely stunning centerpieces here’s the place to look - she has so many stunningly gorgeous designs. Things I never would have thought to mix - she perfects. I’m always amazed by her talent and creativity. I’ll be posting more from The White Table soon!
